Vandor Corporation Celebrates its 50th Anniversary Year

From a press release.

Starmark Cremation Products of Richmond, Indiana, recently announced the promotion and relocation of longtime employee, Chad Eversole. Chad has relocated from Richmond to Lakeland, Florida, to take the new position of Assistant Regional Manager at the Starmark of Florida location. He will be working with Regional Manager Cecil Beach to grow the warehouse direct route truck delivery routes in Florida.

Before the move to Lakeland, Chad held many positions at Vandor and Starmark. After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and taking an internship with Hasbro Toy Group, he found himself back in Richmond, Indiana. There he took a job at Vandor as a press operator. Shortly afterward he became a shift supervisor and then was asked to join the Research & Development team. As part of the R&D team, he helped design and develop plastic injection molded components for the wire and cable industry as well as the first Starmark units. His role in R&D eventually led to roles in customer service, production and marketing.

Chad received certification in Organizational Leadership & Supervision from the Purdue School of Technology, and is enthusiastic about his new opportunity in Florida. “It’s true that we already have so much of the Florida cremation market, but that doesn’t mean we can’t reach for more. Offering route truck deliveries from Lakeland, Florida, positions us to be the number one supplier of cremation containers and supplies in Florida…and that’s exciting!”, exclaimed Eversole.
