Amy Cole joins CFSA Staff as Marketing & Operations Manager

We are excited to announce that Ms. Amy Cole of Gurnee, Illinois, recently joined the CFSA staff as our new Marketing & Operations Manager. Amy replaces Matt Zellner, as announced in last month’s edition of the CFSA Newsletter.

“This was not an easy position to fill,” said executive director George Buckley, “as it requires an efficient, talented, and experienced person adept in multiple skill sets. From graphic design to membership development to financial and data management, this part-time position is quite diverse in a small office environment. However, we are indeed fortunate to have found someone of Amy’s caliber!”

Amy received her college degree from the University of Michigan in 1997, majoring in Industrial and Operations Engineering. After graduation, she held a series of progressively responsible positions for 13 years with some major corporations (The Trane Company, Guardian Equipment, Uline) before leaving the work force to become a stay-at-home Mom. Amy and her husband have three children, ages 14, 11, and 6, and live in Gurnee, Illinois (a north shore Chicago suburb where former CFSA staff members Erin Russell and Barbara Russell were also from). In her “spare time”, Amy is a Dance & Fitness Instructor and is an active volunteer with various nonprofit organizations, including serving as the choreographer and costume designer for a local theatre troupe.
