Vandor Corp. and C.J. Boots Casket Co. Announce Merger

Vandor Corp. in Richmond, Indiana, and C.J. Boots Casket Co. of Anderson, Indiana, have announced a merger agreement. Chris Boots will remain president of C.J. Boots and will become a Vandor shareholder, Gerald Davis, president of Vandor Corp, says.

“C.J. Boots Casket Co. will add new high-speed wood-processing equipment to its Anderson, Indiana, facility, making it easier to meet both projected new sales growth and provide same day Core Line and Craft Casket shipping,” Boots says. “New equipment will allow C.J. Boots to better utilize existing floor space, increase productivity, reduce costs, speed up shipping, and so altogether better serve the funeral industry.”
Vandor Corp. also manufactures products for a wide variety of public and private sector companies. Other products include injection-molded plastic automotive parts, and packaging reels for the wire and cable industry. Vandor’s funeral products division manufactures cloth-covered and wood-veneer burial and cremation products marketed under the Starmark Cremation Products and Vision Casket brands as well as casket interior components for other companies.
