This site offers a variety of rich features designed to enhance your member experience and to facilitate year-round networking and sharing of information.  The tips below can help you get started.


Logging In.  In order to access CFSA’s members-only resources, including the Membership Directory, member registration discounts, educational resources, or archived materials, you will need to log in as a CFSA member company or employee. If you did not receive or do not have your login credentials, contact CFSA at 847.295.6630 or

Updating Your Username/Password, Contact Information, and Privacy Settings.  You have complete control over the information that is displayed in your CFSA profile!  Once you are logged in to the website, go to Manage Profile and then Edit Bio. Here you can edit your username, password and contact information. Further, all information can be designated as Public, Private, or Visible to Members Only by changing the icon next to each field.  It’s that easy!



Adding a Logo or Headshot to your Profile.  Make a bigger impact with fellow members and potential customers who view your CFSA profile by adding an image.  If you are responsible for managing your company’s online CFSA profile, you may wish to add your company logo.  Individual employees may add a headshot photo (or other image). 

To add an image to your company or employee profile, log in to the website and go to Profile Home.  On the image placeholder (see below) in the upper left corner of the profile screen, click the Add Photo icon containing the green arrow.  On the next screen, browse to the image on your computer, and then click Submit



Adding a Custom Company Description. You may wish to elaborate on your company's products/services, purpose, notable characteristics, or other information that you would like available to members and the public who use the CFSA website’s “Member Directory” or “Find a Supplier” features.  To add a company description, log into your company account on the CFSA website.  Click on Profile Home, and then click on the EDIT link in the Company Information section of your profile (see below).  Company Description is the last field in your company’s Professional Information section.  Note: Make sure the privacy icon next to the Company Description field (see below) is green, so that your description is viewable to the public.



Register for the Events. Tired of hand-written paper forms, “snail mail,” and faxes? Save time and trees by registering online for the Fall Conference & Trade Show or the Winter Seminar! To register to attend, log into your employee account on the CFSA website (logging in entitles you to members-only discounts on registration fees). Navigate to Events > Event Calendar and locate the correct event within the event listings (see example below). Click the Register icon.


On the following screen, choose the appropriate event pricing and fill out the form. You may then add additional attendees from your company, or finalize your registration. During checkout, members can pay by credit card or choose the convenient “Bill Me” option.



Updating Your Newsletter Preference. We want to know the best way to reach you—whether on paper, on screen, or both. You can now easily update your preferred method for receiving the monthly CFSA Newsletter at To view or change your preference, log in to your CFSA web account and go to Profile Home. At the bottom of your profile, under Additional Information, you can view your current newsletter preference setting. To edit this setting, click the EDIT link on the right side of the blue bar.


On the next screen, scroll down to the Additional Information section of your profile. Check your preferred method(s) of receiving the newsletter (check both Mail and E-Mail to receive both formats), and then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.





Finding Other CFSA Members. Are you trying to find a CFSA member company who sells a certain product, or looking for contact information for a member you met at a conference? You can find this and more using CFSA’s online Member Directory. To perform a search, log in to your CFSA web account and go to Membership > Member Directory from the top menu bar. You will see eleven searchable fields: Company/Employer, Name, City, State, Postal Code, Country, Customers, Products Manufactured, Products Distributed, Products Imported, and Services Provided. Type in or select the information you wish to search for and click Continue.


Your search results will include all member companies and employees that match your criteria. To view the full online profile for a company or employee, simply click the company/employee name. Note: If you are not logged in to your CFSA member account, you will only receive matching companies, NOT employees—employee contact information is available only to CFSA members.




Submitting an Article to the CFSA Newsletter. We want to know what’s going on at your company! CFSA members are encouraged to submit press releases, news about personnel changes, guest articles about industry topics, or links (with attribution) of relevant industry articles. To submit content for publication, go to News > CFSA Newsletter from the top menu bar. Click on the second link, Submit an Article. Simply fill out the fields below to let us know who you are, and then click the Browse button to attach your article. It’s that easy!




Read, Share, and Comment on CFSA News. Did you know that you can access CFSA news on the CFSA website? Simply go to, and click on an article’s title to view the full-length article. To share an article on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or other social media sites, use the links and buttons directly the article’s title. When you are logged in to your CFSA account, you can share a news story with a colleague or friend using the Email to a Friend link above the title, or you can leave comments by clicking the Comments link under the title. 



Viewing Archived CFSA Newsletters. One of the many valuable features of the new CFSAA.ORG website is the availability of CFSA’s valued, members-only content on a 24/7 basis—including past issues of the CFSA Newsletter. From the homepage, you can locate the newsletter archives by clicking on News > CFSA Newsletter on the top menu bar. On the “CFSA Newsletter” page, click the first link, CFSA Newsletter Archives. If you are not already logged into your CFSA account, you will be prompted to do so. Once you are logged in, back issues of newsletter are listed and linked for easy download. Newsletter archives are updated on a monthly basis, so the most current information is always available. 




Viewing Archived CFSA Reports. Industry information, including death rates, casketed death rates, cremation rates, and more, is available 24/7 at the CFSA website. From the homepage, you can locate the statistical report archives by clicking on Member Programs > Industry Statistics, and then clicking the link “CFSA Statistical Report Archives.” If you are not already logged into your account, you will be prompted to do so. Once you are logged in, previously published quarterly and annual reports are listed and linked for easy download.





Add Files and Links to Your Member Profile. You can now share documents and links with your fellow CFSA members when they view your profile. Share items such as company brochures or catalogs, or link directly to important pages within your company website. To add files or links, log in to your member account. In the “My Profile” box, click the fourth link, “Files & Links.” At the top of the page, click “Manage Files and Links” and then “Add A New Item.” Choose “File” to upload a document or “URL” to enter a link. Note that all files and links are private (visible only to you) by default. To make your item visible to other CFSA members who view your profile, choose “Members Only.” Once you have uploaded your file or entered your link address, check the box indicating that you agree with the terms of the Upload Agreement and then click Submit. Your items are now visible on the left hand side of your Profile Home page.



Messaging Another CFSA Member. Did you know you have your very own “Inbox” as part of your member account? If your regular e-mail tends to get bogged down, or if you just want a separate place to keep CFSA communication, feel free to use the messaging system built into CFSA’s website. First, log in to you CFSA account. Click the ‘Messages’ link in the My Profile menu on the right side of the screen. Here you have access to your own Inbox and Sent Messages. To send a message, click the ‘Message A Member’ link. On the Member Search screen, enter the last name of the member in the Search box and click ‘Search.’ On the Search Results screen, hover over the name of the member you wish to contact using your mouse. On the box that pops up, click ‘Message Me” (in red below). You can now edit and send a message!
