Board of Directors Selects Nashville For Site Of 2018 CFSA Winter Seminar

The CFSA Board of Directors, led by President Jerry Burchett (PPG Industries) and Vice President Rodney Robinson (Southern Craft Manufacturing), recently selected Nashville as the host city for the 2018 Winter Seminar. The annual event will be held from Thursday to Saturday, March 22 – 24, 2018, at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown located in the city’s Arts District.

Nashville is the capital of Tennessee and home to Vanderbilt University. Legendary country music venues include the Grand Ole Opry House, home of the famous “Grand Ole Opry” stage and radio show. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and historic Ryman Auditorium are Downtown, as is the District, featuring honky-tonks with live music, the bars of Broadway Street, and the Johnny Cash Museum, celebrating the singer’s life.

“Nashville is a popular destination right now,” said CFSA Executive Director George Buckley, “and being so centrally located in the U.S. will afford a majority of our CFSA members the opportunity to attend on reasonable travel budgets.” Recent Winter Seminar venues have included San Diego, Fort Meyers, Clearwater Beach, and Puerto Rico. “There are an awful lot of fun and exciting things to do in Nashville,” said Buckley, “and incoming President Rodney Robinson and our Winter Seminar Planning Committee will ensure a full agenda of family activities, nightlife, and business.”

DINNER WITH A VIEW: The 2018 Winter Seminar Program features two events in the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown’s rooftop dining room, boasting a 360-degree view of the Music City.
