Nashville Delivered As Promised On A Great Winter Seminar Success

CFSA members, guests, and family attended a fantastic and memorable event on March 22-24 in the famous Music City, and Nashville lived up to its reputation as an exciting and welcoming city!  The Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown proved to be a warm and comfortable venue to host our lively group.

Keynote speaker Richard Flint (above) delivered a powerful message about the dynamics of embracing and fostering change in our evolving death care industry, as well as in our personal lives.  Nashville-area speakers Fred Zahn and Bill Carey shared stories about the city’s remarkable history and flavorful culture.  And Ben Daniel and Friends delivered on what may be a first for CFSA – a live, Nashville-true, country band for our President’s Dinner Dance that filled the dance floor and had the 28th floor of the Sheraton rocking!

The historic Ryman Auditorium – the original site of the Grand Ole Opry – entertained our group with a backstage tour of an infamous venue that hosted Johnny Cash to Dolly Parton to Minnie Pearl.  And in what may have been the highlight of the three-day conference,  the brand new Topgolf sports and entertainment facility brought out the fun and “competitive” side of our young and old alike as we thwarted microchipped golf balls into what looked like a massive pinball machine set on several acres.  Awards were given for the highest score and, well, the  not-so-highest score!

If you were unable to attend, please take a moment to browse the elegant Photo Montage that accompanies this newsletter. Thanks to Southern Craft Manufacturing for sponsoring the Photo Montage!
