Our annual CFSA Fall Conference & Trade Show was a wonderful success this year, with several new sponsors, new exhibitors, and first-time attendees. This annual gathering is the largest, most potent collection of suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers servicing the death care industry, and offers a unique forum to reveal new products, analyze industry trends, and share knowledge.
Doug Gober, of Gober Strategic Capital, was the keynote speaker and drew a crowd as he highlighted industry trends and forecasts for the next several years. Ryan Thogmartin, CEO and Founder of ConnectingDirectors.com and Disrupt Media, presented an impressive display of how the funeral supply industry is beginning to leverage Social Media marketing in the death care industry. John D. Marsellus of Marsellus Casket Company and Kenneth I. Curtis (posthumously) of Lockwoven Company were awarded 2015 CFSA Lifetime Recognition Awards during the two-day conference.
