In Memoriam: Wendell H. Alton

We regret to inform you of the recent passing of Mr. Wendell H. Alton, 80, Founder and CEO of Alton Caskets and Manchester Supply (now Manchester by Victoriaville).

He died peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, August 25th. Wendell Alton of London, Ontario, Canada, was in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Sheila Ann (Gordon). Dear father of Geoffrey (Sarah), Laura (Tom) Dueck and Martha (Brent) Francis. Cherished grandfather of Andie and Wyatt Dueck and Olivia, Jack and Benjamin Francis. Wendell was the founder and CEO of Alton Caskets and Manchester Supply, and active for many years in CFSA.
Friends were received at Logan Funeral Home in London, and a funeral service was held in the chapel. Interment was at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
