We regret to inform you of the passing of Jeanette H. “Netter” Schwartz, 81, mother of Fred Schwartz of Schuylkill Haven Casket Company. She passed away Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Born in Schuylkill Haven, January 26, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Edward S. and Laura Martz Geary. She was the widow of Paul J. “PJ” Schwartz, who passed away March 31, 2015. She graduated from Schuylkill Haven High School.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Earl, Jean and Wayne Geary; sisters, Betty Strouse, and Nancy Nye.
Netter is survived by sons, Kenneth “Fred” Schwartz and fiancee, Tina Houck, Schuylkill Haven, and Scott A. Schwartz, husband of Lisa, Auburn; grandchildren Wendy, Chuck and Donny; brother, Leonard “Red” Geary, Schuylkill Haven; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with certified celebrant Rebecca Devlin officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
