Erin Russell Leaves CFSA Staff

Erin Russell, CFSA’s Operations Manager since February 2013, recently left the staff to begin a new position as the Director of Membership and Communications for the Chicago-based Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (www.nffs.org).

She was well known to CFSA members, as she was the “voice” for incoming calls to the office, and she was an official “greeter” at the CFSA registration desk (along with Chris Lindom) at five Winter Seminars and four Fall Conferences during her tenure.

“Erin did an absolutely wonderful job for CFSA,” said George Buckley, Executive Director. “She refined administrative office processes, developed strong business and personal relationships with many of our members, and perhaps her greatest contribution and legacy at CFSA will be the creative and impressive way she enhanced and upgraded the ‘look and feel’ of nearly every communication piece we have – from Fall Conference and Winter Seminar brochures to our website to the monthly CFSA Newsletter.  She should be proud of her contributions here over four years, and she will leave a solid foundation for her successor.”

Erin and her husband, Bill (a frequent guest at CFSA events who made many friends among our members), will continue to live in Grayslake, Illinois, with their two children, Will and Hara.
