Frank Kaiser, a proven leader and veteran of both the airline and funeral service industries, was named president of the DW McComb Group, according to a news release.
Kaiser has served as president and CEO of Eagle’s Wings Air, a leading provider of logistics services to North American funeral homes and shipping services, since its founding in 2007. In his new role, Kaiser will continue to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of EWA along with those of Inman Shipping Worldwide, which the DW McComb Group acquired May 1. Both companies will continue to operate as separate, independent entities moving forward.

Through a number of strategic initiatives and service/product extensions, Kaiser has guided EWA to sustained growth since its founding six-plus years ago. EWA and Kaiser’s team have managed the successful air transportation of 55,000-plus loved ones to their final destination on behalf of thousands of funeral homes throughout North America.
DW McComb Group CEO David W. McComb launched the new holding company, headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, this month. McComb is a licensed funeral director and fourth-generation co-owner of D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes, a family of seven funeral homes managing 1,500 plus calls per year in Fort Wayne. A successful entrepreneur and investor, McComb has also founded companies offering a wide range of products, services and segments within the funeral service profession, including preneed planning software, online obituaries and logistics.
