We are pleased to continue our infrequent series of Sponsor Spotlight articles in which we profile from time to time a different CFSA member company that has chosen to sponsor a program or activity. CFSA is very fortunate to have many generous companies that financially support the association during the year, and this is an opportunity for us to thank them and to profile their company for the entire membership.
We continue the series this month with CASKCOA, a relatively new sponsor of CFSA events. Here are the responses to our questions from CASKCOA’s management.
When did your company first join CFSA, and what do you value most about your membership?
We’ve been a member of CFSA since 2012. One of our early customers, Cardinal & Sun Casket Company of Florida, recommended that we join the organization. CFSA’s former executive director, Mark Allen, also came to visit (we are located near Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, and not too far from CFSA’s headquarters office). Mark and his team invited us to the 2011 CFSA Fall Conference & Trade Show. We immediately realized the importance of supporting our industry, as well as the benefits of networking. I was also touched by the “friends and family” feel of the small business community.
Why has your company become a sponsor of the association?
We grew well within the CFSA family. By focusing on customers’ needs and doing whatever it takes to help them succeed, it brought one member distributor after another to us. Service, Miller, and Wise, etc., are good examples. CFSA’s well-being is naturally important to us, as well as that of our fellow member customers. This year we recommended that two of our new customers join the organization. We share in CFSA’s success, and will contribute more for years to come.
Tell us a little about your company.
CASKCOA designs, manufactures, and distributes both metal and wood caskets from low-cost regions. We excel by providing quality products with value and operation efficiency. Our vision is to supply cost-effective, high-eye-appealing merchandise to independent distributors. Our world-class global supply chain management provides distributors a “cutting edge” in the market, such as new product development and sophisticated inventory planning. In addition, attention to details, our continuous improvement approach, and consistently adding value, also have earned us many loyal relationships. It is our belief that today, our industry demands very cost-effective yet appealing products. CASKCOA provides that with a niche. Our sector is changing fast, but we are here to partner with your family business, and to turn these challenges into global opportunities.
