Astral Industries recently held its annual national sales meeting in Indianapolis on the coattails of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) convention. After the close of the convention, all of their sales representatives from around the country gathered to review the highlights of Astral’s past year and to honor those representatives who excelled during the year. Doug Roberts, Williamsburg, Kentucky Business Center, was awarded Sales Representative of the Year, for the second year in a row. Joe Main, Lynn, Indiana Business Center, was awarded Rookie of the Year and Rick Klepacz, Chicago, Illinois Business Center, was awarded the Most Promotional Caskets sold.
In addition, the two-day meeting included several guest speakers who offered insight about the funeral industry, and provided the group with fellowship and networking opportunities. The guest speakers included Ryan Thogmartin of Disrupt Media, Elleanor Davis-Starks of 100 Black Women of Funeral Service, and Doug Boles, President of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
