A prestigious award for Victoriaville & Co.

The prestigious Award of Merit was presented to Alain Dumont, President of Victoriaville & Co., at the annual convention of the Funeral Service Association of Canada held in Ottawa, Ontario, June 18-21.

This award has been given out over the years to honor those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the enhancement of the Canadian funeral profession throughout a distinguished career in the funeral service industry.

The Funeral Service Association of Canada (FSAC) is responsible for promoting formal commemoration rites and rituals through leadership, education, and public awareness. This award is usually granted to a recipient chosen from among directors of funeral homes.

“Looking back at the list of recipients over the last 20 years, I am honored and humbled to receive this prestigious award, and I feel I should be sharing it with the amazing colleagues I am surrounded by,” said Alain Dumont. “I would like to express my sincere thanks to the President of FSAC, Mr. Yves Berthiaume, and all the members of the Board of Directors. I also wish to thank Ms. Marie-Ève Garneau, Chair of the Nominating Committee and the person in charge of the evening, as well as Mr. Denis Desrochers and Ms. Annie St-Pierre, President and Executive Director, respectively, of the Corporation des Thanatologues du Québec.”

Victoriaville & Co. wants to thank all of its Canadian clients for their support over the past 70 years. Without them, the success of the company would not be possible. In addition, Victoriaville & Co. also wishes to thank all its US and international clients who, day after day, get to know the company and the people who work hard to make it such an effective and vibrant entity.
