FELLOWSHIP & NETWORKING

CFSA offers opportunities to meet with peers and associates to promote your company and develop a network of long lasting business relationships.  The annual Winter Seminar provides the opportunity to network with industry colleagues, see old friends, and meet new ones while you enjoy industry educational programming in a resort setting.  The Fall Conference & Trade Show, held in early November, draws 300 members of the funeral supply industry to Indianapolis.  It is the buy-sell opportunity of the year for the funeral supply industry.  Funeral supply manufacturers and distributors display their latest goods and services.  In addition to tabletop exhibits, the Fall Conference presents the latest in topical education and the opportunity for you to network with your colleagues and suppliers.

It pays to be a member!  CFSA members save $100+ per person on event registration.  Members who exhibit at the Fall Conference & Trade Show save over $1,000 on booth rental fees.

CREDIT RESOURCES

CFSA membership includes (without additional fees) important tools offered exclusively to members that can help them avoid bad debt.  CFSA compiles a record of payment histories of over 20,000 funeral homes through its Funeral Home Credit Guide program, available online 24/7.  Based on data reported by CFSA member participants, this service provides suppliers with important information about their current and potential customers.  This program alone can save your dues investment by eliminating devastating accounts receivable write-offs.  Part of the Credit Guide program the Past Due Survey program, provides information on funeral homes with past due accounts.

CFSA also offers members discounted rates on professional debt collection services provided by our CFSA-sponsored collection agency, CST Company.  CFSA members receive a 20-25% discount on collection fees.  Further, members receive the Monthly Bulletin of Accounts Placed for Collection, which provides information on funeral home accounts that have been placed for collection through CST Company.
